In this section, I plan to tap into my “Life Coach” mentality and share how I take care of myself so that I’m able to give my best to others. I am an avid bath taker, the massage receiver in our family, and frequent spa-goer. I take the time I need to nurture and honor my self-care needs. I don’t feel guilty for spending money on my self. In fact, I reward myself for my hard work by spending my hard earned money on my self-care routine.
Earlier this summer, I attended an all women’s self-care retreat. It was expensive, but I knew I was worth it. It was money well spent. I came home after 3 nights away, feeling refreshed, rejuvenated and inspired. I highly recommend, if you don’t already have a strong self-care routine or ritual in place, that you read my posts about self-care and then start your own ritual/routine. You will be better for it and be able to give your all to everyone else without feeling depleted, resentful and tired all of the time. Check back often for self-care articles!
