BIG NEWS: A Vintage Pop-Up Shop is Coming to Town!

✨ BIG NEWS: A Vintage Pop-Up Shop is Coming to Town! ✨

Something amazing is being created. 🎨

I am working on bringing a Thrift and Vintage Pop-Up Shop right here to my small rural town!

Lately, my Pinterest feed has been filled with gorgeous vintage pop-up markets. Seeing those curated spaces sparked a massive idea. Why not bring that same creative magic to our own community?

πŸ“¦ The Moving Box That Sparked It All

As many of you know, we moved into our new home last fall. To be honest, I am still unpacking boxes!

Recently, I opened a specific box that changed everything. It was packed to the brim with stunning vintage home decor. I’m talking:

  • Classic milk glass dishes
  • Elegant vases
  • Unique, timeless treasures that just don’t have a place in our new “vintage” home.

Holding those pieces in my hands made the pop-up shop idea completely come to life.

πŸ•οΈ A Campground Escape & A Major Thrift Haul

The universe definitely aligned during our recent family camping trip. We stayed just a short stroll from home at the Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Campground outside of Mansfield, PA.

While my husband and kids were living it up at the swimming pool and enjoying an ice cream social, I snuck away. I ran into town for a quick solo mission: the Goodwill 50% off sale!

The thrift gods were smiling on me. πŸ›οΈ

I uncovered an absolute goldmine of items. Some are perfect for my own home & DIY projects. The rest? They are going straight into the inventory for the upcoming Vintage Pop-Up Shop!

πŸ’΅ The $36 Jackpot

You will not believe the total. I got this entire massive haul for only $36! I only have some of the items posted below (in the photos). I got so much more and will post about those finds in another article soon.

Want to see exactly what I found? Check out my full Thrift Haul photos below to see how I spent part of my $36 and get a sneak peek of the inventory!

Stay tuned for dates, location details, and DIY styling sneak peeks. Our small town is about to get a whole lot more charming.

Something else beautiful is blooming over at Little Miss Idea! My garden is about to burst with vibrant colors. My hard work is paying off with gorgeous Zinnias, towering Gladiolas, whimsical Cosmos, and cheerful Sunflowers. (And other random flowers that I planted but don’t know exactly what they are.) I will just be enjoying whatever pops up!

I wanted a unique way to share these fresh blooms with you. So, I am pairing them up with my absolute favorite obsession: thrifted finds! I am matching these fresh-cut stems into curated sets with the lovely, unique vintage bud vases shown above.

I have been hunting down the best vintage glass styles for these pairings:

  • Clear glass and etched glass for a timeless, delicate look.
  • Heavy leaded glass to catch the summer sunlight perfectly.
  • Cobalt blue and milk glass to add a bold pop of retro color to your shelves!

You can score these custom flower-and-vase sets at my upcoming Vintage Pop-up Shop. Best of all? I am keeping the prices completely affordable.

I want everyone in our amazing community to be able to enjoy these beauties. You can pop by often to refresh your home decor or add a special piece to your growing vintage collection!

If there’s something that you are on the hunt for but haven’t found yet, drop a comment below, and when I’m out and about and I see it, I would be happy to message you about it.

With all my best DIY and Vintage treasure hunting regards,

XO,

Meg
